This is a quick-and-easy light bulb craft idea, fun for kids of all ages…

Smaller-than-standard light bulbs might be best for these ornaments - use them plain or paint them white(r). Glue a knitted hat over the screw end (easily made from the ankle part of a child’s sock); add a hanger to the top of the hat, or tie it around the "neck". Use another bit of sock to make a muff - and glue on elbow-angled twig arms that go from "shoulders" to inside the muff. Glue on 2-3 tiny buttons down the front (or paint them on). Paint on two black dot eyes, and glue on the tip of a toothpick, painted orange, for a carrot nose. Wrap neck with a scarf made from a strip of fabric... and he’s real!
