Got any old (maybe warped) LP phonograph records you want to get rid of creatively? - here’s how to make planters out of ‘em… 

Nest an old plastic record between two graduated-sized clay flower pots... The record, of course, will start out being flat and actually un-nestable! - the nesting comes when you submerge the bottom pot and the LP in boiling water. The plastic will slowly soften, and you can fold the sides into the bottom (now outer) pot. When you can, gently press the inner pot into the plastic and weight it with a rock. ...Then let it cool - a plant pot that already has the requisite seep hole in the bottom!
