Coffee Liqueur
61/2 round tbsps. instant coffee
3 1/4 cups boiling water
4 1/4 cups sugar
a fifth of light rum
1 vanilla bean (split but unseparated) per bottle
Dissolve coffee in the water and add the sugar; cool and
add the rum. Put a vanilla bean into one or more bottles,
pour liquor in, and cork. Let it stand at least 30 days
before imbibing.
