Spiced Orange Vinegar
  

Cut a continuous spiral of peel (about 3/8-1/2" wide) from a washed navel orange (use a small, sharp knife). Place the twist of peel with 2 whole cinnamon sticks, 6 cloves, and several golden raisins into a pint bottle and fill with cider vinegar.
