1 cup all-purpose glue
3/4 cup water
1 tbsp. acrylic or tempera paint
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp. borax
Mix together the glue, 3/4 cup water, and paint with a
wire whisk. Separately mix the 1/3 cup water and borax
together and slowly pour it into the other stuff and stir.
Let it stand for 5 minutes, then knead it up into
"silly putty" form (pour off any remaining
liquid). Store it in a plastic bag (or eggshell!) when it’s
not in use.
