Want to make paper beads without the mess of papier
mâché?… Cut long, narrow triangles of wallpaper, large
magazine photographs, or art paper. If you want inch-wide
beads, make the triangles an inch wide at the base - and the
points from about 6 to 12 inches away (depending on how
thick the paper is and how thick you’d like the beads to
be - you’ll have to experiment). Now simply spread a thin
layer of glue on the back side of the paper and roll it up,
beginning from the base end. Make sure the point is glued
firmly in place - and coat the outer surface of the beads
when the glue has dried, if you like.
