2 dozen hard-boiled eggs, peeled
few sprigs of fresh dill
2 cloves garlic, sliced
other spices? (chilis, cloves, mustard seeds,
peppercorns)
6 cups vinegar
1/4 cup white sugar
Put a dozen eggs into each of 2 quart jars (or divide
into 4 instead). Divide the various flavorings equally
amongst the jars. In a non-aluminum pot, bring the vinegar
and sugar to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour this into
the jars, leaving1/2" space at the tops. Seal and
process in a boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
