Want to make a truly simple bird house? This one
couldn’t be much simpler... A regular metal mailbox set on
a post, or in a tree, makes a fine house for nesting birds -
just leave the door open and the flag up! Or leave the door
shut and cut a smaller hole in the end. Decorate the mailbox
as desired... and there’s a wonderful gift (especially if
you also provide the post, if a good connector spot is
lacking).
