Swedish Almond Rusks

2 eggs

1 cup brown sugar

7 tbsps. butter

1 cup finely chopped almonds

3 cups sifted flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

Beat the eggs and sugar until light; add creamed butter and the almonds. Sift dry ingredients in gradually, beating well. Spread dough a 1/4" thick in a lightly buttered baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes until golden. While still warm, slice at a slant in pieces about 3/4" wide; then cool.
