Something to do with those pretty single teacups that may
be gathering dust (especially the ones with no saucers! -
though you could use a cup-and-saucer set, too): Make
them into teacup candles.
Just melt wax (old candles will do; add crayon shavings
for coloring, if you like) and pour it into the tea cup
around a short wick (which you can get in a craft store). [A
tip: I’d warm the cup in hot water (and dry it) before
pouring into a delicate piece of porcelain.] Wrap the gift
in tantalizing cellophane… or a tea towel!
